A home search is personal by nature, shaped as much by place as by the house itself. This Neighborhood Spotlight explores Fort Worth and DFW neighborhoods through lived experience—architecture, local character, and the details that shape daily life. Each feature reflects what gives a neighborhood its distinct feel, informed by the people who live there and the homes they inhabit. It’s a place to consider how neighborhoods reflect the people who live there, and how that collective identity carries into life at home.

Riverhills is shaped by its close connection to the Trinity River, offering a way of living that feels grounded in nature while remaining deeply connected to the city. Set near the Trinity Trails, Oakmont Park, and the river itself, the neighborhood balances quiet residential streets with easy access to Fort Worth’s shopping, dining, and cultural destinations, including Clearfork and Waterside.

At 7321 Brightwater Road, that balance comes into focus. In conversation, Renee Eiband, who represented the sale of the home, shared insight into what makes Riverhills such a distinctive pocket of Southwest Fort Worth, and how daily life here unfolds between the river, trails, and city beyond.

Describe what a typical weekend might look like for someone living in this Fort Worth neighborhood.

Depending on how active you are you can start your morning with a long scenic walk. If shopping and dining are a priority, jump on the Chisholm Trail Parkway and head to Clearfork to enjoy a multitude of high end stores — from retailers like Neiman Marcus, Arhaus and Ballard Designs, to luxury labels including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent — as well as some of the finest dining in the city, from Doc B’s to B&B Butcher’s, Fixe to Mesero, and more!

What is your favorite spot in the house? Why?

My favorite spot is the quiet and private backyard. Sitting on the large covered stone patio and looking out on to the beautifully landscaped backyard — it is an outdoor paradise.

What do people enjoy about living in Riverhills Fort Worth? How would you describe the neighborhood?

People enjoy the parks and trails — just pop out your front door and hit the walking/biking trails. The incredible variety of architecture in this Fort Worth neighborhood lends to many different lifestyles. There is a mix of families with kids of all ages and empty nesters. Southwest Fort Worth is home to several of the Fort Worth private schools. (Shoutout to my husband’s alma mater, Trinity Valley School — go Trojans!)

What are your favorite local restaurants?

My favorite restaurant is Piattelo in the Waterside shopping center, which also has an REI, Whole Foods, all types of fitness — pilates, yoga, cycle, strength — and many other great shopping and dining spots.
